Fifth Annual United for D.C. Celebrity Golf Tournament
On Monday, June 5th, 2006, United for D.C. held the Fifth Annual United Celebrity Golf Tournament, presented by East West Mortgage and R&R Catering, at Old Hickory Golf Club in Woodbridge, VA.
This five-year event raised over $50,000 for United for D.C. and included participation by D.C. United players Freddy Adu, Jaime Moreno, Troy Perkins and Alecko Eskandarian, among others. Hole sponsors included Clark Construction, The Washington Examiner, United Bank, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, HKS, ARAMARK Sports & Entertainment, Qurist Inc. and Arent Fox.
Fourth Annual United for D.C. Celebrity Golf Tournament
On Monday, September 19, 2005, United for D.C. held the Fourth Annual United for D.C. Celebrity Golf Tournament, presented by United Bank, at Old Hickory Golf Club in Woodbridge, VA. This four-year event raised over $50,000 for the charity and included celebrity participants such as D.C. United players Freddy Adu, Ben Olsen, Jaime Moreno and more.
Third Annual United for D.C. Celebrity Golf Tournament
On Monday, September 13th, 2004, United for D.C. held the Third Annual United for D.C. Celebrity Golf Tournament, presented by United Bank, at Reston National Golf Course. This third-year event raised over $55,000 for the charity and included celebrity participants such as D.C. United players Ryan Nelsen, Freddy Adu, Ben Olsen, Jaime Moreno and more.
Second Annual United for D.C. Celebrity Golf Tournament
On Monday, September 29th, 2003, United for D.C. held the Second Annual United for D.C. Celebrity Golf Tournament at Reston National Golf Course. This second-year event raised over $35,000 for the charity and included celebrity participants such as US National Team Head Coach Bruce Arena, D.C. United Head Coach Ray Hudson, D.C. United players Ryan Nelsen, Brian Carroll and Marco Etcheverry and D.C. United alumni Geoff Aunger, Kris Kelderman, Curt Onalfo and Mike Ammann.
Inaugural United for D.C. Celebrity Golf Tournament
On Sunday, August 4th, 2002, United for D.C. held the Inaugural United for D.C. Celebrity Golf Tournament at Fairfax National Golf Club in Centreville, VA. This first-year event raised over $30,000 for the charity and included celebrity participants such as US National Team Head Coach Bruce Arena, MLS Commissioner Don Garber, D.C. United Head Coach Ray Hudson, D.C. United players Ryan Nelsen, Ali Curtis, Jaime Moreno and Richie Williams and MLS All-stars Richard Mulrooney (San Jose Earthquakes), Chad Deering (Dallas Burn) and Jason Kreis (Dallas Burn).
